2025 WCM Summer Youth Employment Course

The WCM Summer Youth Employment Course is designed to give participants training and preparation for employment. This program has two components covered over six weeks. The schedule includes five weeks of interactive Zoom lessons and employment exploration field trips in week six with our community business partners.

Participant Requirements

Who Can Participate?

Open to students ages 14—17

You must register through this website to reserve your seat in the summer youth employment program (required). The class is limited to 20 students.

What Will We Do?

Participants will learn about important job-related topics such as dressing for success, time management, financial literacy (what to do when you get your paycheck), and more! The sessions are for one hour, two times per week (via Zoom) for five weeks followed by a one week work assignment to round out the sixth week.

How Long is the Course?

The course begins the week of June 9th and ends the week of July 14th. Participants will receive a certificate of completion and weekly monetary stipends!
